Making Your WordPress Site Faster

A fast website improves user experience, reduces bounce rates and helps your Google rankings. Here are the most effective ways to speed up your WordPress site on our servers.

1. Use a Caching Plugin

Install WP Rocket (paid) or LiteSpeed Cache (free, optimised for our LiteSpeed servers) to cache your pages and reduce server load.

2. Optimise Your Images

  • Install reSmush.it or ShortPixel to compress images automatically on upload
  • Use WebP format where possible for smaller file sizes
  • Set appropriate dimensions – do not upload a 4000px image for a 600px column

3. Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Connect your site to Cloudflare (free) to serve static assets from servers closer to your visitors. This is especially helpful for serving international users.

4. Minimise Plugins
