Configuring Email on an Android Device
Using Gmail App
- Open the Gmail app
- Tap your profile picture ? Add another account
- Select Other
- Enter your full email address and tap Next
- Choose IMAP
- Enter your email password and tap Next
Incoming Server Settings
- IMAP Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Username: [email protected]
Outgoing Server Settings
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
- Port: 465
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Require sign-in: Yes
- Username: [email protected]
Using the Samsung Email App
The process is similar. Open Samsung Email ? Add Account ? Other ? enter your email and password ? manually configure the settings above when prompted.
