Resolving 404 Errors
Fix 1: Flush WordPress Permalinks (Most Common)
- WordPress admin ? Settings ? Permalinks
- Click Save Changes without changing anything
- Test your pages
Fix 2: Restore .htaccess
- cPanel ? File Manager ? public_html
- Create or restore .htaccess with standard WordPress rules
Fix 3: Set Up 301 Redirects
If a page was moved or deleted, install the Redirection plugin and create a redirect from the old URL to the new one.
Fix 4: Check DNS
If entire site gives 404, verify your domain DNS is pointing to our servers.
