Installing Plugins in WordPress
Plugins extend your WordPress site with features like contact forms, SEO tools, e-commerce, security and more.
Method 1: Install from the WordPress Plugin Directory
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard
- Go to Plugins ? Add New
- Search for the plugin you want
- Click Install Now next to the plugin
- Click Activate
Method 2: Upload a Plugin ZIP File
- Go to Plugins ? Add New ? Upload Plugin
- Click Choose File and select the .zip file
- Click Install Now
- Click Activate
