One-Click WordPress Installation via Softaculous

Softaculous is a one-click installer available in cPanel that lets you install WordPress and over 380 other applications in minutes.

How to Install WordPress

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. In the Software section, click Softaculous Apps Installer
  3. Click on WordPress
  4. Click the Install tab
  5. Fill in the installation details:
    • Protocol: https://
    • Domain: Select your domain
    • Directory: Leave blank to install to the root of your domain
    • Site Name and Description: Your website name and tagline
    • Admin Username: Choose a username (do not use ‘admin’)
    • Admin Password: Set a strong password
    • Admin Email: Enter a valid email address
  6. Click Install

After Installation

  • Your WordPress site will be live at https://yourdomain.co.za
  • Log in to WordPress admin at https://yourdomain.co.za/wp-admin
  • Use the admin username and password you set during installation

Important: Save Your Login Details

Softaculous will email you your installation details. Keep these safe – you will need them to log in to your WordPress dashboard.
