Understanding Your Hosting Resource Usage
All Web Design Hosting SA shared hosting accounts operate under CloudLinux, which ensures that one account cannot consume resources that affect other accounts on the same server. Each account has defined resource limits.
Resource Limits on Shared Hosting
| Resource | Standard Plans | Business Plan (2x) |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 1 CPU core | 2 CPU cores |
| RAM (PMEM) | 512MB | 1GB |
| I/O Operations | Standard | 2x Standard |
| Simultaneous Processes | 20 | 40 |
How to Check Your Resource Usage
- Log in to cPanel
- Scroll down to the Metrics section
- Click Resource Usage
- Review your CPU, RAM and I/O usage
What Happens When You Hit Resource Limits?
If your site consistently hits its resource limits, you may experience slow page loads or temporary errors. CloudLinux isolates this to your account only – other accounts are not affected.
Upgrading to Get More Resources
If you regularly hit resource limits, consider upgrading to the Business plan (2x resources) or contacting us to discuss your options. See our guide: How to Upgrade Your Hosting Plan.
